It seems like Samsung is gearing up to launch Samsung Galaxy mega 2. Information from Mumbai retailer says that Samsung will soon Samsung Galaxy Mega 2. But so far, Samsung has not announced any news about the launch of Galaxy Mega 2.
A retailer of Mumbai Mahesh Telecom posted on Facebook that the smartphone will be available in market from Wednesday at Rs.21,499 and will have MRP of Rs.24,300.
The smartphone is successor of Galaxy Mega 5.8 which was available to buy in Malaysia at MYR 1,299(approx… Rs.24,700).
The Galaxy Mega 2 has a 6-inch TFT HD display screen with resolution of 720x1280pixels. The smartphone is powered by quad-core 2.4Ghz processor clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM.
The smartphone runs on android 4.4Kitkat Operating System out-of-box and have inbuilt memory of 16GB but expandable up to 64GB via one and only microSD card.
The Galaxy Mega 2 has rear camera of 8-Megapixel with LED flash and front facing camera of 2.1-Megapixel. The device includes connectivity features like LTE, Glonass, NFC, 3G, Micro-USB, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth.
Samsung has launch Single SIM variant of Galaxy Mega 2 in Malaysia but we expect dual-SIM variant in India.
The Galaxy Mega 2 is backed by 2800mAh battery but no information about battery standby and talktime time. The smartphone will be available in two color variant- Blizzard White and Cosmic Black colours.
